Each Wick Stick has been made by hand out of Copper and comes with 100% recycled cotton. Therefore, each will have its own unique characteristics. Also, it will develop a beautiful and natural patina over time from exposure to the air/water/dirt which you can polish them back to shiny goodness if that's your jam but we love how beautifully they age. 

How does it work? 

This plant self watering system uses ingenious capillary action. Water can travel through the pipe and into the soil of your plant. 

• In addition, water has the cunning ability rise up against gravity when given the right conditions.
• Using capillary action the fibres in the cotton cord are able draw or suck in water like a straw through the interior of the fibre, up the copper pipe and into the dirt that your plant sits in. In other words, your plant will stay watered without you having to do anything.
